Anita was an amazing servant to the club doing the player registrations, chasing subs around each age group on training nights, heading up the new comet system, doing the club accounts and stepping up, by going on as director for Ystradgynlais Community Centre (Penrhos Youth Club).
We sadly lost Anita on the 10th of December, 2021.

When the club faced one of its darkest periods, Daniel Davies stepped in and became a driving force behind its survival and resurgence. As chairman, he provided steady leadership and worked tirelessly to rebuild and strengthen the club’s foundations.
Alongside Matthew Strangward, Daniel co-founded the girls’ section — a transformative step that gave local girls the opportunity to play football and helped shape a more inclusive and forward-looking club. His work didn’t stop there. As a long-standing committee member, he continually pushed for progress, always with the best interests of the club at heart.
Daniel wasn’t just a figurehead — he was a man of action, vision, and heart. Thanks to his dedication and belief in the club’s potential, Ystradgynlais AFC has grown into the thriving community it is today. His legacy is clear in every match played and every young player inspired to dream bigger.
Isaac has made history as the first boys’ player from our club to be capped by Wales, earning his place in the Under-17 national squad—a momentous milestone for both him and our entire community.
From his earliest days wearing the Ystradgynlais badge, Isaac showed not only talent but also the kind of commitment, attitude, and love for the game that define our club's values. His dedication on and off the pitch has now earned him a place among the nation’s finest young footballers, as well as a schoolboy contract with Swansea City AFC—a testament to his relentless hard work and the support of those around him.
Isaac's journey is an inspiration to all the young players coming through our ranks. It shows what’s possible with belief, perseverance, and the right support system.
